The Publishing House of the University of Talca was founded in 1993. At present, it depends upon the Academic Vice Rector and its goal is to spread the knowledge generated by the academic staff of the Corporation or national and international personalities. Apart from the above, the Publishing House of the University of Talca intends to strengthen the regional identity by means of its publications.

The products of the Publishing House are characterized by their high quality and are directed to researchers, educators, professionals, students and the general public.

The Publishing House of the University of Talca has defined three collections:

- Academic collections
- Corporate collections
- Electronic book collections

The publishing committee is formed by:
