TUniversidad Bolivariana is an institution of Superior Education that emerges from reconstruction processes of the Chilean civil society at the beginning of years 90 as expression of the democratic world.

Editorial Universidad Bolivariana is a Chilean publishing company started in 2005 and its mission is to contribute to the knowledge of the philosophy and cultural project of the University as well as promoting a new social and cultural paradigm.

The cultural project of our university anchors prevailingly in Latin-American thought, but in agreement with the main democratic perspectives of the globe, not excluding the opening to a multicultural world.

The authors of our publications are, predominantly, important academic intellectuals of Latin America and Spain.

Our Publishing house has four academic publications, among which the main one is POLIS (www.revistapolis.cl) a four-month review dedicated to transdisciplinary issues. We also publish AUSTERRA dedicated to anthropology, BABEL in the psychological field; GEOINTERACCIONES in geografy and MOVIMIENTOS SOCIALES in social history.

Aside our academic magazines, our publishing house has edited over 120 titles in diverse fields such as: New Paradigms and New Utopias, Environmental Thought, History of Social Thought, Alternative Thought, Susteinable Development, Human Development, Local Development, Social Literature, Philosophy, Ecology, Ethics, Anthropology, Archaeology, Geography and History.
